Saira are looking for a savvy social media expert to join their London team and tell the story of their cutting edge hospitality school. This role offers the opportunity to create highly personal connections with London’s leading lifestyle hotels, including Nobu, The Hoxton, citizenM and more.

The right candidate will have the ability to create engaging content for Instagram reels/stories, TikTok, Snapchat, Facebook and LinkedIn using their expertise in shooting high quality shareable content on their phone. Experience with a professional filming kit is a bonus but not essential. You will be energetic and keen to visit our community of learners, trainers and expert speakers on site as well as off site to capture rich and relevant content at some of the best hotels and brands in the city. Using your multimedia know-how and storytelling skills you will deliver a quick turnaround of content creation including creative writing for posts and blogs.

The Role

You will be a key client-facing member of our team at all special events, off site events and at the school to capture content that shines a light on our learners’ journey from our Open Day to Graduation day and beyond. Our school programme is a mix of classroom-based learning, workshops and practical experience at our brand partner venues in Hackney and so there is plenty to be inspired by! Working with the Project Manager, you will create a content plan that is scheduled around the learning journey which includes a series off inspiring industry expert-led workshops.  As our roving reporter, you capture awesome stories through your lens and can work these stories into nicely written soundbites. You represent the Saira brand in it’s entirety, a brand that celebrates growth, connection, equality and transparency.  

Essential Responsibilities:

·       To fully understand our core brand values and message, plus the values of our hotel partners

·       To create an inspiring content plan based on our curriculum and learner journey

·       To be present for all key dates and events in order to maximise all opportunities with brand partners, expert speakers and other influential stakeholders

·       To act as an ambassador for Saira at all times

Working Conditions & Training Requirements:

·       Classroom/outdoors/ancillary locations in Hackney & Tower Hamlets

·       Flexible to work daytime and evenings (as required by and in line with the content plan)

·       Working Hours: 10 hours a week, a combination of live reporting/content creation and video/photo editing as required

·       Demonstrated excellence in content creation, both written and photographic

Special Skills/Knowledge Required to Perform Role:

·       Able to read, write and speak English language proficiently

·       Must have knowledge of all social media channels

·       Passion for people

Mental Demand:

·       Can do, positive attitude

·       Able to think on their feet

·       Ability to come up with new ideas for content creation
